  • Terms of Agreement

    I. Application to Become a Marketing Digest Author Your application to become a Marketing Digest Author is subject to the approval of the Marketing Digest team, and may be rejected at the sole discretion of the Marketing Digest team.

    II. Content Submission You, as a Marketing Digest Author, are encouraged to have at least one submitted article, approved and published every month.

    There is no limit to the number of articles that you may submit every month.

    III. Approval of Content Submissions Marketing Digest reserves the right to reject any content submission it deems unsuited for Marketing Digest. However, you will be given feedback and a chance to modify your content for up to three revision rounds. Failure of approval of your content submission after three rounds of revisions will make your content submission null and void.

    You may however make a brand new content submission anytime.

    In certain cases, the Marketing Digest team will directly edit content submissions for publishing.

    IV. Content Uniqueness Marketing Digest uses tools to detect plagiarism and duplicate content such as reports, articles, images, and videos. Marketing Digest will only approve and publish content that is original, and has no duplicate somewhere else in the Internet.

    If your original content includes content that you do not own: such as snippets of third party content to support your story, and/or such as in content curation, you should have acquired permission to use it or should ensure that the content can be used with proper attribution. You will solely take responsibility for copyright issues that may arise from your published content.

    V. Getting Featured Having at least one submitted article, approved and published every month gives your content the eligibility to become featured on Marketing Digest.

    Exceptional content submission however, may be approved, published and featured as the Marketing Digest team deems fit.

    VI. Use of Badges Marketing Digest badges are provided for you to promote your content and your Marketing Digest authorship. Marketing Digest badges are owned by Marketing Digest and may not be altered in any form nor used for any other purposes.

    VII. Ownership of Content and ExclusivityAny content you have submitted to, approved and published in, Marketing Digest becomes the property of Marketing Digest—with you as the attributed author.

    You may not republish the content you submitted and published in Marketing Digest in any form.

    You may however, include snippets of your published content from Marketing Digest to reference it in another unique content in another publication, website, blog, or in any other print or electronic form, on condition that you attribute your published content at Marketing Digest in the form of a hyperlink.

    You remain to be the attributed author of your submitted content, approved and published in Marketing Digest.

    VIII. Non-Liability Marketing Digest will not be held liable for any intellectual property claims nor any other legal claims that may arise from your submitted content, approved and published in Marketing Digest.

    IX. Amendments This term of agreement is subject to change without prior notice. Check your Marketing Digest dashboard for updates.
